East African Land Administration Curriculum Harmonization Workshop
The Institute of Land Administration at Bahir Dar University has been trying to create a link with Universities of other countries in East Africa to do teaching and research activities together. Previously, a land administration harmonization workshop was held in Uganda during 2009 and Kenya in 2010 to realize this collaboration. As a continuation of these workshops it is our institution´s turn to organize the next workshop that will be held at Bahir Dar University, Ethiopia, from 6th to 7th of July 2011. The aim of the workshop is to harmonize land administration curriculum in East Africa, to discuss about the possibility to launch an Eastern African Journal of Land, starting a joint M.Sc programme in Land Administration, staff and student exchange to contribute to better cooperation in the region.
