What time is the library opened?

The library is opened 22 hour per day including weekends and public holidays.

 

Do you have a public fax machine?
We do not supply public fax service. Very soon all the Library will start offering users local faxing at the Librarian head office, however this service will be restricted to Instructors only.

 

Where is the Lost and Found?
Lost and Found enquiries can be made at the checkpoint desk.

 

Does the library have scanners?
We do not have any public scanners. Plans are underway to have the service available in the near future. Kindly check this page later for updates.

 

Where are reserves books kept?
They are currently found only at the reserve desk in all libraries.

 

Where can I make returns?
Book drops are located only in the circulation desk. Make sure you collect your pocket card upon returning your books.

 

Where are the videos kept?
VHS tapes, CD’s DVD’s are currently only available in the postgraduate library under audio – visual section. Contact Mr. (Ato) Berrihun for further guidance.

 

Do you have a paper cutter?
Staff members can use the Book service section located in the Natural Science library. A range of services such as but not limited to: binding, cutting, book repairs, etc. 

 

Is there a pay phone?
No. The nearest public payphone is around the main hall that is opposite the Postgraduate library.

 

How do I connect wirelessly from my laptop?
The library is currently upgrading its IT infrastructure to include wireless internet. Once the installation is complete instructions will be posted on how to connect your wireless laptop. Visit this page later for instructions.
