Evening Program
The following Bachelor of Science courses are currently running in via our Evening/Extension Education Program, more courses are under development and will be posted here when launched. This program consists two (2) main semester and an optional semester that is run during summer. Students are allowed a maximum load of 12 credit hours per main semester. For the optional semester a maximum of six (6) credit hours are allowed.
Majority of the courses are run during the weekend (Saturday and Sunday). This program is a favourite for people who are working and would like to enhance their education; convenient for people living in Bahir Dar city and its sorroundings, if you would like to enroll for the course but living and working at a distance not convenient for transportation, you may enroll for the Distance Education Program.

Track title: - BASIC TRACK.
Track Description:- The basic track is designed to meet the University’s overall mission in providing students with foundation in higher order thinking, communicative, computing and computer skills. Most of the courses are prerequisite for the remaining tracks.

Track title: - SURVEYING/GEODESY.
Track Description:- The surveying or geodesy track is designed to acquaint students with various current surveying instruments, develop theoretical and practical skills of using such instruments. Furthermore students are expected to make measurements in the field, to sketch what they have measured, to transfer field data in to computers, edit the data and prepare digital maps.

Track title: - ECONOMICS.
Track Description:- The Economics track is intended to acquaint students with basic concepts, real estate market analysis and techniques of carrying out real estate well as issues of discounting, compounding and formulation of investment problems with basic economics property valuations as are treated.

Track title: - LAW.
Track Description: - The law track is proposed to acquaint students with basic concepts of law, Constitutional law, Public Law and civil law with emphasis on real estate law. Particular prominence is given to Law of real estate property, contracts (also gift and lien, especially mortgages); and an overview of major laws relating to land in Ethiopia.

Track Title: - LAND ADMINISTRATION.
Track Description: - The Land administration track is expected to acquaint students with central concepts of the program. Issues of efficient land administration systems such as how, why, and new concepts and good practices from elsewhere are introduced and analyzed. The courses in this track are thus synthesizing ideas studied in the previous tracks hence most of the courses are undertaked by students in their senior classes.
