Ethiopian Land Administrators’ Association
The Institute is currently taking decisive steps to establish the Ethiopian National Association of Land Professionals. At first ILA has become an academic member to the International Federation of Surveyors (FIG) after the FIG Conference in Stockholm in 2008.
Subsequently, a national correspondent has been assigned by FIG from among the Institute's staff to facilitate the formation of the association. This measure completely integrates with the Institute’s strong desire and commitment to form the association.
The association is being established with the general objectives of:
- Securing the advancement of proper land administration in Ethiopia, and
- Promote general interests of land related professionals in addition to maintaining and extending their importance to the public.
